ACAP/EQIP project must be completed and verified by the appropriate agency (Conservation District or NRCS).

Total out of pocket expense must be $1000 or more.

Applicant must be an honorably discharged United States military veteran or currently serving member in the US military, owner of the property, and have significant daily involvement in operating the farm.

Awardees must provide documentation of military service and a W-9 as required by the IRS for non-employee compensation.

Army veteran Chad Butters of Eight Oaks Farm Distillery has engaged with NRCS and Lehigh County Conservation District to install conservation BMPs on his family farm. Proceeds from Eight Oaks Farm Distillery's Veterans Cut Bottled in Bond Bourbon have funded this opportunity for Chad's fellow veteran farmers.
