ACAP/EQIP Cost Share Reimbursement Grant
funded by Eight Oaks Farm Distillery

 
  1. Four $1000 grants available while funds last.

  2. Applications open until funds are expended.

  3. ACAP/EQIP project must be completed and  verified by the appropriate agency (CD or NRCS).

  4. Total out of pocket expense must br $1000 or more.

  5. Applicant must be an honorably discharged United States military veteran, or currently serving in the US military, owner of the property, and have significant daily involvement in operating the farm. 

  6. Applications accepted online here .

  7. Required documentation to be uploaded to online application: ACAP projects--executed contract. EQIP projects--download this verification form for your NRCS poc to complete. ACAP + EQIP projects, both documents required. 

  8. Selected applicants will be required to provide documentation of military service and a W-9 as required by the IRS for non-employee compensation.

Army veteran Chad Butters of Eight Oaks Farm Distillery has engaged with NRCS and Lehigh County Conservation District to install conservation BMPs on his family farm. Proceeds from Eight Oaks Farm Distillery's Veterans Cut  Bottled in Bond Bourbon have funded this opportunity for Chad's fellow veteran farmers.
