About the event

Host farmers Colton (US Navy veteran) and Shelly Parsons invite you to join them and their guest presenters for a pasture walk and drone demo at Parsons Land and Cattle.


They raise 100% grass finished beef on 's 140 acres near the border of Susquehanna and Wayne counties in northeastern Pennsylvania. Since 2024, their cattle have grazed on pasture supplemented with hay in the winter.


Attendees the workshop will learn how the Parsons employ best practices of regenerative ag. The farm produces beef using no pesticides or chemical fertilizers, hormones. The Parsons have benefited from technical assistance provided by USDA and their conservation district, including creating a grazing plan and preparing to apply for cost share programs.

The workshop will also feature Bill Fisher of Drone Deployment Services and a demonstration of the diverse applications of drone technology for landowners, highlighting thermal inspections, livestock and pet recovery, vegetation health…
